Year 6s deliver their own assembly!

The entire Year 6 group put on a amazing assembly yesterday for the rest of the school to enjoy.

They told us all about the variety of fun activities they did on their residential trip to Danbury a few weeks ago.

Danbury is a woodland haven in the heart of Essex and is located in seventy acres of prime countryside, just one mile from Junction 18 of the A12.

Danbury offers a wide variety of programmes including activities such as aerial trekking, canoeing, climbing and mountain biking.

The pupils told us all about the fun they had doing rock-climbing and making fires.

The trip was a great way to do group and team exercises.

In the evening, the Year 6s had meals together in the log cabin accommodation.

The pupils who did not go to Danbury also presented. They also told us about taking part in activities during the week which included a trip to the natural history museum.

A highlight was a visit to our secondary school where they were able to take part in some spectacular science experience. Heron hall has some of the biggest and most modern school laboratories in London.
