Highlights from the Inspection report
-The school is driven by its vision for pupils to develop talent and characteristics to flourish as individuals.
-Pupils are polite, respectful and courteous.
-Pupils are happy and safe.
-The school fosters high standards of behaviour.
-Pupils feel valued and listened to.
-The curriculum is broad and ambitious, and pupils develop strong knowledge and skills.
-Teachers have strong subject knowledge.
-Children receive high quality, consistent phonics teaching delivered by well trained staff.
-The school identifies additional needs quickly and adapts the learning to ensure that pupils with SEND achieve well overtime.
-The personal development of pupils is at the heart of the school.
-Safeguarding is effective.
What can we do better?
The inspection team agreed with the school that sometimes where pupils have misconceptions in their learning, staff should use their knowledge and expertise to close any gaps to support future learning. This is an area that we are already working on and will continue next year.
