Windrush celebrations

The 75th Windrush anniversary celebrations got off to a flying start with pupils receiving a special visit from Rudi Page, who coordinates The Windrush Anchor Heritage Education programme, and Deputy Mayor Mohammad Islam. The first ever Windrush Anchor Heritage Education Day was a fantastic opportunity for the children embrace the remarkable contributions of the Windrush generation.
