A replica of the Windrush ship anchor comes to the school

A replica of the anchor from the Windrush Ship came to the school. Pupils had the chance to share poetry, listen to distinguished guest speakers, and meet Enfield's Mayor, Doris Jiagge. Guest speaker Rudi Page, who manages The Windrush Anchor Project, spoke about the impact and contribution of Black, Asian and other ethnic minorities to Britain. 2023 will mark the 75th anniversary since the HMT Empire Windrush arrived in Britain. Year 5 and 6, through their Force for Positive Change initiative, have been campaigning for justice for all those who came to Britain.
