Year 5 spend the day at London Transport Museum’s Windrush Exhibition.

This week saw the Year 5 children visit the London Transport Museum Windrush exhibition.

The exhibition, ‘Legacies: London Transport’s Caribbean Workforce’, celebrates the many contributions this generation have made within the public transport sector.

The children explored the exhibition and learned about the stories which include memories from first, second and third-generation Caribbeans who worked for London Transport (LT) or still work for Transport for London (TFL). The children gained a lot of knowledge from attending the exhibition.
