Kingfisher Hall “MPs” meet to discuss a better future

On Thursday members from our Primary Power Parliamentarians initiative met to brainstorm ideas and discus how they can help make a difference in school and the local community.

The children have been elected to be the members of parliament for the school. There are 13 “MPs” in total from years 1-6.

Pupils spoke about climate change, global warming, and what they can do to help the school be more sustainable.

The “MPs” came up with some great ideas. They suggested to be more sustainable the school could replace plant pots with recyclable bottles and encourage people to use less paper to help save more trees.

We are so proud of our children for being a force for positive change.
