Find some great resources to take part in Children’s Mental Health Week

Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity that provides counselling and mental health support and training in UK schools.

The theme of this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is “Express Yourself”.

Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. This could be through art, music, writing and poetry, dance and drama, photography and film, and doing activities that make your child feel good.

You can see some resources and ideas on what it means to get your child to express themselves more here.

Children’s Mental Health Week was first launched by Place2Be in 2015 to shine a light on the importance of children and young people’s mental health.
