A Happy School Where Children Do Well
Our School
Kingfisher Hall Academy is a primary school in Enfield. We have a modern building, good classrooms and outdoor spaces where children can learn and play.
We are part of North Star Community Trust, a group of schools in North London. This helps us share good ideas and support, while keeping the close, friendly feel of our own school.
What We Believe
We believe every child can do well with the right help, care and teaching.
At Kingfisher Hall, we want children to work hard, behave well and be kind to others. We keep the school day well organised so children know what to expect.
We want every child to feel valued and supported. If a child needs help, we try to notice this quickly and give the right support.
Good Teaching and a Well-Organised School Day
Our teachers plan lessons carefully and help children build their confidence step by step.
We check children’s learning often. This helps us see who needs extra help and who is ready for more challenge.
Children with Special Educational Needs get the care, support and teaching they need to take part fully in school life and do well.
Reading is very important at Kingfisher Hall. We ask families to read at home with their child for at least 15 minutes each day. Reading helps children in every subject and builds confidence.
A calm, caring and safe school
Parents want to know their child will be happy, safe and treated with respect. We understand this.
We work hard to make Kingfisher Hall calm, caring and safe. Staff know the children well. Children know there are adults they can speak to if they need help.
We teach children to be kind, respectful and proud of their school. We want every child to learn in a classroom where they can listen, join in and do their best.
Working with families
We are proud to serve families from many different backgrounds. Many of our children speak more than one language, and we see this as a strength.
We want parents and carers to feel welcome in school. We will listen, explain things clearly and work with you if your child needs help.
Children do best when home and school work together. That is why we keep in touch with families and encourage parents to speak to us early if they have any worries.
Our Community Outreach team can also support families who need extra help.
For busy parents, we offer breakfast club and after-school care.
Strong Results
In 2025, 78% of our Year 6 children reached the expected level in reading, writing and maths. This was higher than both the Enfield average of 69% and the national average of 62%.
These results show the hard work of our children, staff and families.
They also show that children leave Kingfisher Hall ready for secondary school, with strong reading, writing and maths skills.
Come and See Us
The best way to understand Kingfisher Hall is to visit during the school day.
