Our Approach to Teaching

Reading is at the heart of our curriculum.

Children learn to read through a structured phonics programme in the early years and Key Stage 1. As they grow, they read a wide range of books to develop understanding and enjoyment.

Teachers regularly check how well children understand their learning.

We keep parents informed and provide simple guidance so you can support your child’s learning at home.
