High Expectations. Real Outcomes.
We are proud of our children’s achievements and the effort, resilience and determination behind them. Their success reflects the commitment of our staff, strong partnerships with families and our belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.
Through expert teaching, a carefully planned curriculum and a nurturing environment, we help children build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for secondary school and beyond.
A Closer Look at Our Results
Our results reflect the learning that takes place every day at Kingfisher Hall. Teachers use regular assessment and feedback to identify where children need extra help and where they are ready for further challenge.
Focused support and opportunities to deepen understanding help children move forward in their learning. Alongside this, our partnership with families supports the routines, confidence and motivation that help children succeed.
Understanding Our Results
Expected standard: Children have met the national standard expected at the end of Key Stage 2. This is also sometimes called the age-related expectation (ARE).
Higher standard / greater depth: Children have demonstrated attainment above the expected standard. The term “greater depth” applies to writing; “higher standard” applies to reading, maths and SPAG.
Combined: Children have achieved the relevant standard in all three subjects: reading, writing and maths.
SPAG: Spelling, punctuation and grammar.
Science: There is no separate higher-standard or greater-depth measure, so this is shown as N/A.
| Subject | Expected standard | Higher standard / greater depth |
| Reading | 88% | 48% |
| Writing | 84% | 21% |
| Maths | 82% | 41% |
| Reading, writing and maths combined | 80% | 13% |
