Keeping Children Safe Every Day
Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to making sure every child feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.
We create a calm, caring environment where pupils feel confident to speak and know they will be listened to. Staff build strong relationships with pupils and take all concerns seriously, acting quickly when needed.
All staff receive regular safeguarding training and understand their responsibility to report any concern, no matter how small. We work closely with families and external agencies to make sure children get the right support at the right time.
We follow clear procedures to keep our school safe. All visitors must sign in at reception and wear a visible lanyard at all times. Anyone without the correct identification will be challenged.
This helps create a school where children feel secure, valued, respected, confident, supported, and able to thrive every day, both in lessons, around school, and as part of daily life with confidence.
Our Approach
We create a culture where children feel safe to talk and know that adults will listen. Pupils are regularly reminded who they can speak to if they are worried, and staff take time to build strong, trusted relationships.
Staff are trained to recognise signs of concern and respond quickly. All concerns are recorded and followed up carefully to make sure children receive the support they need.
