What We Can Offer You
The Outreach team offers FREE support in many areas of family life, including:
- parenting advice and guidance
- support with behaviour and routines
- courses that help parents develop new skills
- opportunities to meet other parents
- advice about nursery, primary and secondary transition

Courses cover topics such as healthy eating, parenting skills and practical life skills. Many are delivered with partners including Enfield College and the Workers’ Education Association, and some lead to recognised qualifications.

Working With Save the Children
The Trust works in partnership with Save the Children on nationally recognised programmes that strengthen family relationships and support children’s learning.
Programmes such as FAST and Families Connect help parents develop practical ways to support their children’s learning at home and strengthen family routines.
Evaluations of these programmes have shown improvements in children’s learning, behaviour and family wellbeing.
Services and Family Support
The Outreach team works with a range of partners to bring services directly into the school community.
These include:
- antenatal and post-natal services with the local NHS Trust
- community dentist visits
- first aid training
- help registering with doctors and libraries
- family reading events that encourage parents to read with their children
These services help support families from pregnancy through to the end of secondary school.

Supporting Parents Into Work
The Outreach team also helps parents develop new skills and explore employment opportunities.
In partnership with Enfield Voluntary Action, parents were trained in childcare and supported to create a community stay-and-play group called Humming Birds, which now serves families from across the local area. Some parents involved in the programme have since moved into jobs in early years settings.
Food Bank Support
The Trust runs a food bank in partnership with The Felix Project, local supermarkets and community organisations.
Each week food support is provided to around 250 families across our school community.
